Due
to the
global implementation of the new
ISPM15 regulations for
wood packaging
materials, Jaymark hold comprehensive stocks of most
sizes used for case & pallet making that meet
the set standard.
New regulations state that
all softwood intended for case making and pallets
must be heat treated (H/T) so that the core temperature
of the timber section is maintained at 56 degrees
C for 30 minutes. This is to reduce the spread of
pests that may infest the timber.

As sponsors of BIFA (British
International Freight Association) we are kept up
to date with all the relevant changes and key diary
dates. Most importantly, we are aware of and can comply
with the dates on which other countries will implement
these regulations.

Jaymark
are currently importing over 2'500 cubic metres per
month of sawn / PAR Heat Treated softwood into various
ports around the south East & midlands. These
include: Ipswich, Chatham, Rochester & Goole.
With these facilities we can either deliver ex quay,
straight into our customers (mixed 40 M3 loads) or
transport the timber to our yard at Woking. Here we
can break down the packs to smaller quantities and
redeliver on our own vehicle within 1-3 working days.
